           My Commentary
on the Book Of
Zechariah Part Eleven
This is my commentary on the book of Zechariah. This book’s prophetic meaning is now revealed to the body of Christ. My comments are not meant to replace the word of God, nor be added to it. They are meant only as a guide for you to compare my interpretation to what the Holy Spirit leads you.
Please comment on areas that you feel are wrong and I will be happy to reconsider it included with the facts you gave. My only intention is to teach on the book of Zechariah and the interpretations God revealed to me, subject at hand.
Lack of leadership in the body of Christ on prophecy is unending. Those who are pastors and teachers constantly ignore these prophetic books. The rejection of prophecy has let to a great crisis in the church today. To teach the bible without teaching prophecy is just plain wrong. My goal as a teacher is to fill this gap.
Let us break bread and open the book of Zechariah, chapter 14:1-21. Please read this, [only], side by side when you have your bible with you. I use an NIV so I put those words here so it is easy for you to see what God stated in his holy bible.
Please be careful and do not place my words equal to those in the bible for they are not. This is just commentary only and I am not adding or taking away from the bible according to Revelation 22:19.
This is only a commentary of a long line of commentaries down through the last 2000 years. But I do believe this interpretation is far superior to any interpretation out there today.
Please pray for God to wake you up by giving proper interpretation of these prophecies so you may warn and wake up your family and the body of Christ.
For God says to wake up wake up or sleep forever for those [that] live in Babylon the Great, America, Jeremiah 51:57. For the daughter of Babel will not rise to inherit the kingdom to cover the earth with her cities, Isaiah 14:21. I have placed my words in a different color, this color, so that you may differentiate them from God’s words.
For those climbing the mountain of Zion are also told Awake, Awake and put on your garments of splendor, Isaiah 51:17, Isaiah 52:1. So let us not be the five virgins without jars of oil when Jesus Christ, Bridegroom, comes but let us fill our jars with oil, Holy Spirit, and be counted worthy to escape these things at the coming Rapture.Â
               Zechariah 14:1-5 NIV
                 The Lord Comes and Reigns
A day of the lord is coming when your plunder will be divided among you. 2 I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city.
3 Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights in the day of battle. 4 On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half the mountain moving north and half moving south. 5 You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah.  Then the Lord my God will come, and the holy ones with him.
Verse 1–The day is coming when all the Christ followers will divide the plunder taken from the whole world which has been controlled by the ungodly since the fall of creation.
Verse 2–All the nations will want to move Jerusalem the rock but will get injured if they try. It appears by this verse all means all. But that does not mean the ones who live in these nations that love God and have no desire to fight against Israel or Jerusalem by trying to kick them off the land or move land boundaries. All Jerusalem will be captured and the houses ransacked, half the city population will go into exile, running away, but the other half will be stubborn and hold their ground, hold their homes, hold their land. They will stand fast and this will be a great encouragement to all of Judah, Israel.  And they will not be taken from the city or moved for God is on their side and they will know this. The world will look on in dismay.
Verse 3-5–Jesus Christ will fight as King of Kings taking back his dominion, his title deed to earth. This time he comes not as man but in all his glory standing on Mount of Olives, splitting the Mount of Olives in two from east to west forming a great valley with the moving of half the mountain south and half north. Jerusalem will flee by way of this valley right before the judgement of mankind. This fleeing sounds very similar to when they fled the Egyptians through the Red Sea.  Scripture does not seem to teach anything on this earthquake and I must say I am stumped as to the story and what exactly happened. Apparently they fled in terror from the earthquake during Uzziah’s reign as king. I could find nothing in scripture except the mention of this.
Verse 5–The holy ones with Him are Jesus Christ leading the armies of the Saints on white horses, Revelation 19:14.
                Zechariah 14:6-11 NIV
6 On that day there will be no light, no cold or frost. 7 It will be a unique day , without daytime or nighttime–a day known to the Lord. When evening comes, there will be light.
8 On that day living water will flow from Jerusalem, half to the eastern sea, and half to the western sea, in summer and in winter.Â
9 The Lord will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one Lord, and his name the only name.
10 The whole land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up and remain in its place, from the Benjamin Gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses. 11 It will be inhabited; never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure.
Verse 6-8–This day is a special day made by God, for it is the judgment of all mankind, no daytime or nighttime. This living water will not be like the water we know but with special properties of life in it. All creation will flourish from these waters that start in Jerusalem to the seas through out the earth.
Verse 9-this lord is Jesus Christ and he will be the King of Kings and will reign on earth for 1000 years with the Christ Followers counted worthy enough. This is the 1000 millennium which will start around 2018 to 2019 according to the Seventy Year Prophecy.
Verse 10–Geba; A town in the territory of Benjamin, Joshua 18:24. Rimmon; A city in the southern part of Judah near Edom, Joshua 15:32.  Most of the area south of Jerusalem will become like Arabah; like desert area. But Jerusalem will be raised up but remain in its place. This appears to me to be New Jerusalem which is the city G-d built that comes down out of heaven in Revelation chapter 21.
The reason I conclude this is New Jerusalem is because of verse 10 where it says Jerusalem will be lifted up and verse 17 where it says they will go to Jerusalem to worship the King. This is none other then J-sus Chr-st and the time is during the 1000 year millennium. This 1000 year day of the Lord is the typecast fulfillment of the Feast of Tabernacles and after seventy one week celebrations of this special prophetic Feast. This is the last Feast that has not been fulfilled yet prophetically.
Verse 11–Jerusalem will be secure once and for all because G-d will take back his title deed to all of creation once and for all. The city Chr-st will reign from is the one he built not the one man built for what man can build a home for G-d?
Zechariah 14:12-15 NIV
12 This is the plague with which the Lord will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. 13 On that day men will be stricken by the lord with great panic. Each man will seize the hand of another, and they will attack each other. 14 Judah too will fight at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the nations will be collected—great quantities of gold, silver, and clothing. 15 A similar plague will strike the horses and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all the animals in those camps.
Verses 12-13–If you have seen the Hollywood movie “Indiana Jones in Search For The Ark Of The Covenant.”  at the end of this movie when the Nazis open the Ark of the Covenant and want to look in because it is so beautiful, a plague strikes all the evil people, their eyes and tongues rot in their mouths and sockets while their standing. Notice the Lord states all the nations that fought against Jerusalem. This is every nation on earth. This does not include the Jesus Christ followers. Another plague is the plague of panic. The ungodly will seize each other to attack each other. While they are attacking each other they will be on their way to Hades.
Verse 14–This time Judah will be doing right and fighting for
Jesus Christ. All the Jesus Christ followers will plunder the earth just as Egypt was plundered by the Israelites upon leaving Egypt when God told Moses to tell the Israelites to ask every Egyptian they knew for all their gold and silver. All this wealth will be divided among the Jesus is God followers to be blessed by during the 1000 year millennium when Christ would rule the earth with them as royalty. Â
Verse 15–Even the animals of the ungodly will have a plague.Â
           Zechariah 14:16-19 NIV
16 Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.Â
17 If any of the people of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, they will have no rain. 18 If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The Lord will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do not go to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. 19 This will be the punishment of Egypt and of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.
20 On that day Holy To The Lord will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, and the cooking pots in the Lord’s house will be like the sacred bowls in front of the alter.
21 Every pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the Lord Almighty, and all who come to the sacrifice will take some of the pots and cook in them. And on that day there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the Lord Almighty.
Verse 16-19–The survivors are the Jesus Christ is Son of G-d, G-d in the flesh followers. The Feast of Tabernacles is a one week celebration with strict guidelines by God on how to celebrate this Feast, Leviticus 23:33-44. Israel was required to celebrate this Feast Of Tabernacles for all generations because this Feast is a shadow of future prophecy spoken of in Daniel 9:24.
According to the Angel Gabriel God would indeed answer Daniel’s prayer in Daniel 9:1-21, giving Daniel exactly what he was praying for.  So what was Daniel praying for? Daniel was praying for all Israel to never again have to go in exile for seventy years like they had.
Gabriel told Daniel that like the seventy years of desolation there would be a seventy years of restoration in which all sin would be atoned for, all sin put away, complete redemption of Israel, and Israel would be built in the times of trouble. This prophecy is now revealed seconds before a day we will for simplicity sake call today, a day the Lord has made, a special day no one will understand for there is no day like this day, the Lord’s Day.
So these Seventy Weeks are not a calculation table but a simple prophecy like all of G-d’s prophecies, Seventy One Week celebrations of the Feast of Tabernacles, the same Feast Of Tabernacles all nations will be required to celebrate for all eternity; Seventy Weeks equals Seventy Years. For the Jews who misinterpreted this in the beginning were wrong, and so are the Jehovah Witnesses wrong and so are the Seventh Day Adventists wrong. For they have all been led astray by mosaic law.   This would take Seventy Years to celebrate Seventy Weeks. For as the desolation so be the restoration by God, Zechariah 1:18-21.
Verse 20-21–These horses might be red horses signifying martyrdom and blood that was sacrificed. These could be the white horses of the armies of the Saints who rode in being led by Jesus Christ, Revelation 19:14. Everyone who comes to celebrate the everlasting Feast Of Tabernacles,  will have leftover sacrifice they will cook in the pots shared by everyone in the world. For we are all now forever more one happy very big family. Shared brotherhood throughout all creation. And no longer will there be any evil people living next door as your neighbor, bothering you.  God will once and for all divide the goats from the sheep. Â
