          My Commentary
On the Book of Zechariah
Part  One
    This is my commentary on the book of Zechariah. This book’s prophetic meaning is now revealed to the body of Christ. My comments are not meant to replace the word of God, nor be added to it. They are meant only as a guide for you to compare my interpretation to what the Holy Spirit leads you.
    So, I might as well also talk to you about the above picture, the sheep whom at every market are either marked for slaughter by Demonic Angels or marked by God for protection. Which are you? Are you marked for protection with your name written in the Book of Life or are you marked for the slaughter as all people that deny God’s truth in scripture? You cannot have it both ways according to scripture. You cannot on the one hand say you are a Christian yet be adding words to God’s words in the bible. You do not believe me? God is very clear on his judgments of those EVIL teachers that change God’s words by adding and subtracting words, no matter teh excuse, whether claiming they are going to the Greek or original interpretation or by quting some words of some theologian at some time in history, instead of quoting God’s words, especially about curses to those who add or take away even one word from the bible, Revelation 22:18-19. How about you my Brother in Christ. Do you add words to God’s words all cloaked in the name of denominational bickering to support your denominational IDOLS? Or maybe you only changed one word , you claim and say, removing a word heard by ignoring it and adding a word there to support your Idol worship cloaked in theological study. God says all that do that, taking words away from God’s words God will take away from him his share in the Tree of Life and the Holy City New Jerusalem, Revelation 22:19. God also says if you add words to God’s words, like Mormons do, also like Idol worshippers do when they quote, or support some theologian that is preaching not only contrary to biblical scripture so you can manipulate the truth and manipulate scripture. God says you will be sent the plagues described in the bible.
I hope you all enjoy this commentary on the book Zechariah I did in 2008. Please do not let this replace your bible reading and study of the book of Zechariah. Rather let it be a guide of what the Lord revealed to me as I studied this book. Maybe the Lord will reveal something different to you. I believe my interpretation of this book on prophecy is the most valid post modern interpretation available today. But that is just me and I am only a man God never breathed through for mankind to read. For I point to God’s word as a Witness to truth, not myself, a dirty filthy rag whose sins are many. I point to God’s words in this study to correct the theologians of the past showing you that you too can be a Witness to God’s words no lesser, and no more in the scream from the Reformation “Sola Scriptura!”
        Please comment on areas that you feel are wrong and I will be happy to reconsider it included with the facts you gave. My only intention is to teach on the book of Zechariah and the interpretations God revealed to me, subject at hand.Â
      Lack of leadership in the body of Christ on prophecy is unending. Those who are pastors and teachers constantly ignore these prophetic book. The rejection of prophecy has let to a great crisis in the church today.  To teach the bible without teaching prophecy is just plain wrong. My goal as a teacher is to fill this gap.
      This is my commentary on the book of Zechariah, part one, chapters 1 & 2. Please read this only side by side when you have your bible with you. I use an NIV so I put those words here so it is easy for you to see what God stated in his holy bible. Please be careful and do not place my words equal to those in the bible for they are not. This is just commentary only and I am not adding or taking away from the bible according to Revelation 22:19. This is only a commentary of a long line of commentaries down through the last 2000 years. But I do believe this interpretation is far superior to any interpretation out there today. Please pray for God to wake you up and give you the proper interpretation of these prophecies so you may warn and wake up the body of Christ. I have placed my words in a different color, this color, so that you may differentiate them from God’s words.
A Call to Return to the LORD
    1 In the eighth month of the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came to the prophet Zechariah son of Berekiah, the son of Iddo:
    Eleventh month in the 2nd year, 521 BC, of Darius this first vision came to Zechariah according to modern western calenders. This is Darius the Great, considered greatest of the Persian rulers, the same Darius talked about in Haggai 1:1, about 1 1/2 years after Daniel received his famous 70 weeks angelic answer via his prayer which started in Daniel 9:1, Darius the Mede whom took over the kingdom of northern Babylon after the fall of Babylon at age 62. Also he is the one that issued the decree for the temple and Jerusalem to be rebuilt, Daniel 6:8. He was under Cyrus the Persian and they are both named at the end of the decree to rebuild he issued in Daniel 6:26-28. Babylon fell to Cyrus in the year 539 and the return to Jerusalem was April of 538 BC with their decree in hand, to the day seventy years in fulfillment of Jeremiah’s prophecy. This decree ends signed Cyrus the Persian and Darius. This is the same Cyrus mentioned in Ezra 1:1-4 in which the return started, also 20 years before Nehemiah is talking about in his book and only a little before the book of Esther. Josephus the historian confirms this in his writing that they had the alter rebuilt in the same exact place 6 months later, October 538, celebrating the feast of tabernacles and its sacrificial offerings.
      2 “The LORD was very angry with your forefathers. 3 Therefore tell the people: This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘Return to me,’ declares the LORD Almighty, ‘and I will return to you,’ says the LORD Almighty. . 4 Do not be like your forefathers, to whom the earlier prophets proclaimed: This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘Turn from your evil ways and your evil practices.’ But they would not listen or pay attention to me, declares the LORD. 5 Where are your forefathers now? And the prophets, do they live forever? 6 But did not my words and my decrees, which I commanded my servants the prophets, overtake your forefathers? “Then they repented and said, ‘The LORD Almighty has done to us what our ways and practices deserve, just as he determined to do.'” .
        Zechariah may have thought this was meant for Israel and their return to rebuild the temple and Jerusalem during their generation. Some might even say very likely. This is presumptive since none of us were there to ask him what he thought. Actually it does not matter anyways. For we know it was not for their generation since history has proven the Jews were scattered throughout the world again. So we know that this book is for some future time, [a time called today], in which the Lord speaks not only to Israel but to all of mankind that will listen and follow. The meaning of this book will be revealed, [Let us call this today], at a time right before all of Israel turns to the Messiah Jesus Christ realizing [He] is the one they pierced [He] is the one they crucified. The message from God to Israel is to return to the Lord and He will return to you to never disperse you again. These words are specific historically for right now today, the time in which the time of the gentiles have ended. So turn and see my back says God, follow me. All of Israel repents and become Messianic Jew.
The Man Among the Myrtle Trees Â
    7 On the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month, the month of Shebat, in the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came to the prophet Zechariah son of Berekiah, the son of Iddo.  8 During the night I had a vision—and there before me was a man riding a red horse! He was standing among the myrtle trees in a ravine. Behind him were red, brown and white horses.  9 I asked, “What are these, my lord?” The angel who was talking with me answered, “I will show you what they are.” 10 Then the man standing among the myrtle trees explained, “They are the ones the LORD has sent to go throughout the earth.” 11 And they reported to the angel of the LORD, who was standing among the myrtle trees, “We have gone throughout the earth and found the whole world at rest and in peace.”
    February 24th in the 2nd year of Darius of modern western calenders. This is the second vision from God to Zachariah. A vision of a man riding a red horse standing in a valley among myrtle trees with a group of red, brown and white horses. Myrtle defined–A small evergreen shrub, not a tree, with fragrant flowers & blackberries. This shrub highly valued for constructing booths during celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles, Nehemiah 8:13-15. Â
    The Feast of Tabernacles is a celebration started by God through Moses and it’s purpose is to remind Israel, God’s people, of a time right after being redeemed from slavery in Egypt when they crossed the Red Sea in which they took the Palm Leaves from 70 palm trees upon crossing on dry ground. The celebration is meant to signify and remind of a time when God and heavenly beings dwelled with Israel in tents, booths, to never forget. Peter had falsely predicted the typecast of this when upon the mountain with Christ and the two beloved by Christ, Sons of thunder, John & James, wanted to set up three tents, one for each heavenly being to dwell with them respectively, Christ, Moses & Elijah. Peter, James and John I am sure would have been blessed greatly no matter who was in their tent! See the transfiguration at Matthew 17:1-2, Mark 9:2. Now it is important to understand this happened after six days. Most theologians disagree on many thing but one thing they all seem to agree on is that the Second Coming, Day of the Lord, Rapture and Judgement & 1000 year millennium Day of Rest will fulfill this typecast. This Feast according to God in Leviticus chapter 23:33-44 is a one week celebration that is to be done yearly as a reminder when God dwelled with Israel in tents, booths, in the desert and ate heavenly bread, manna, dwelling together. It is to be celebrated in the 7th month, [tenth on western calenders], on the seventh day. It is to end the day before a Sabbath so the eight day is a day of rest even though it is a one week yearly celebration. This is also a shadow of the coming Rapture, assembly period, 6 year last third of tribulation also called the spotted and striped sheep portion of tribulation which also ends with an assembly, Redemption of the Tribulation five virgin Saints. This celebration starts with a day of rest the first day, assembly period, and six days of dwelling in a booth each individual makes according to God’s strict guidelines. It is to end the day before a Sabbath day of rest, Assembly period. The reason I went into the Feast of Tabernacles so heavily I believe there is great significance here which will become more obvious later in this book. So the Man who rode a red horse is standing in the ravine also called a valley with many huge trees with fruit and fragrant branches so man could  build booths and dwell with heavenly beings.
    Man Becomes Angel of the Lord so the Man who became the Angel of the Lord who rode a red horse is standing in the ravine also called a valley with many huge Myrtle trees with fruit and fragrant branches, so man could build booths and dwell with heavenly beings. This Man is Jesus Christ also known as the Angel of the Lord. Where ever scripture records the Angel of the Lord it is always God. We know this is Jesus Christ because the Angel of the Lord was a man. This same Angel of the Lord appeared to Jacob and wrestled all night breaking his hip, also appeared to Abraham as a visitor . The Red Horse signifies martyrdom and the blood of Christ and its cleansing power. This is why He came in riding the first red horse, yet there were many red horses who came right after, first. These first red horses were the first Christ following martyrs those first couple hundred years. And of course all martyrs are part of this group. No War Chariots    Â
    None of these horses are chariots or have chariots. This means it is a different kingdom then mankind knows today. For this is not a kingdom of this world but God’s world and God’s world does not conquer with swords and warfare but God’s kingdom conquers people in their own hearts. This is why there are no chariots here or swords. Red Horses
All the horses were sent out from Christ, the Red horse rider, report back to Christ, and go out throughout the whole earth. They report back to this Angel of the Lord, Jesus Christ, Son of God, come in the flesh, also receiving orders from Him. Brown Horses After all, the Red horses signifying, Christ following martyrs, the brown horses came and there is only one place in the bible with brown animals described. This is in Genesis 30:32-40. . This is during the last third period of the prophesied Time of Jacob’s Trouble. This is a period broken down into three distinct periods, 7 year Leah period, 7 year, Rachel period and the last and greatest portion. This is the Time of Great Harvest period. This is when Satan, [Uncle Laban], is tricked into losing a great harvest. This harvest is during what most people think of as the great Tribulation, [actually only about 1/3], a six to seven year period.  Well if you read Genesis 30:32-40 carefully in KJV and NIV you will discover that part of this great harvest are brown cattle and sheep.  So according to scripture the brown horses represent the harvest of souls throughout the earth by Jesus Christ, by His grace. Red dyed ram skins were also used in the walls of the tabernacle. This signifies a shadow of Christ’s blood and God’s perfect grace to redeem the followers of Christ. White Horses are Cleaned up Souls The white horses are the harvest ever since the beginning of time that are given, like Joshua, a clean garment and head turbine. This represents everyone who goes to heaven. This is not to be confused with the white horses believers will ride as part of the armies in heaven dressed in fine linen, white and clean, Revelation 19:14. Holy Spirit has given clear interpretation to the horses and their colors and this interpretation is now revealed to the church. These horses were sent by God, Angel of the Lord, Jesus Christ, they report to Christ and go throughout the earth without conquering, for these conquer in people’s hearts. The Red are God’s martyrs starting with Christ as the leader, the brown are the harvest of the world and all who do not deserve God’s grace but He gives it in bounty to those whom repent and ask! The white is everyone after they are in heaven!
12 Then the angel of the LORD said, “LORD Almighty, how long will you withhold mercy from Jerusalem and from the towns of Judah, which you have been angry with these seventy years?” 13 So the LORD spoke kind and comforting words to the angel who talked with me. 14 Then the angel who was speaking to me said, “Proclaim this word: This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘I am very jealous for Jerusalem and Zion, 15 but I am very angry with the nations that feel secure. I was only a little angry, but they added to the calamity.’ 16 “Therefore, this is what the LORD says: ‘I will return to Jerusalem with mercy, and there my house will be rebuilt. And the measuring line will be stretched out over Jerusalem,’ declares the LORD Almighty. 17 “Proclaim further: This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘My towns will again overflow with prosperity, and the LORD will again comfort Zion and choose Jerusalem.’ ”
 Verse 12 the angel of the Lord is asking the same thing Daniel asked in chapter 9: 1-19 in which the angel Gabriel answered that Israel would be restored in a restoration period that is the same as the desolation period, seventy weeks or seventy times the Feast of Tabernacles would be celebrated. This would account for a future seventy years period as selected by God in which Israel would become a nation again, be restored, be redeemed and to never sin again, fully redeemed to dwell with heavenly beings and God in New Jerusalem forever and ever! Verse 15–God is very angry especially with the nations blessed with extreme riches like America especially because of her abominations she spreads throughout the earth. She is a nation of hypocrites that think they are pious yet they are more filthy then any other nation.  She is Babylon the Great and will fall in one day one hour. Surely no nation feels more secure then America and the European Nations. Other nations that feel secure that God is angry with would be Russia and all the Islamic nations who live in safety on the coastlands, Ezekiel 39:6. All these nations will be judged harshly by God by fire according to this scriptures. Verse 14 states clearly that judgment to all mankind is coming with the restoration of God’s people. This is a warning to all not on God’s side. Verse 16–The measuring line is the seventy year period stated as 70 weeks. As Israel’s desolation occurred for 70 years so will Israel be restored for 70 years. The measuring line clearly states it as something that can be measured, in this case time, 70 years. Verse 17– God warning that Israel will be redeemed once and for all to never be scattered again. Four Horns and Four CraftsmenÂ
18 Then I looked up—and there before me were four horns! 19 I asked the angel who was speaking to me, “What are these?” He answered me, “These are the horns that scattered Judah, Israel and Jerusalem.”    20 Then the LORD showed me four craftsmen. 21 I asked, “What are these coming to do?”He answered, “These are the horns that scattered Judah so that no one could raise his head, but the craftsmen have come to terrify them and throw down these horns of the nations who lifted up their horns against the land of Judah to scatter its people.”
 The four horns are the nations God used to disperse and scatter Israel. I am not really sure who these could be. Many theologians and good God fearing people get into endless discussions and theories on this which sometimes can be interesting but many times overwhelming.     Â
    My view is that it really is not that important who they are specifically even though I myself would want to know. Just that the Lord has not revealed to me who these are.      Â
    The important thing is to understand that God used ungodly nations to judge Israel and has throughout history. These nations were like horns that were used to scatter Israel. Â
    God also will use nations to restore Israel. These are the four craftsmen. America and Great Britain played major roles as craftsmen nations. God himself also will Redeem Israel once and for all once they wake up and realize the Messiah is God and whom they pierced. This will occur after the rapture of the five virgins with jars of oil when the other five will freak out because they missed the rapture. They will then go to their bibles and read trying to figure out what happened. They will then take the gospel to the Jews first resulting in all of Israel being saved, in the countryside first and then Jerusalem.
 A Man With a Measuring Line  Â
    1 Then I looked up, and there before me was a man with a measuring line in his hand. 2 I asked, “Where are you going?” He answered me, “To measure Jerusalem, to find out how wide and how long it is.” 3 While the angel who was speaking to me was leaving, another angel came to meet him 4 and said to him: “Run, tell that young man, ‘Jerusalem will be a city without walls because of the great number of people and animals in it. 5 And I myself will be a wall of fire around it,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I will be its glory within.’ 6 “Come! Come! Flee from the land of the north,” declares the LORD, “for I have scattered you to the four winds of heaven,” declares the LORD.
    Verse 1-2–This is the Jerusalem we know because the New Jerusalem in the book of Revelation was measured and did have walls. It’s measurements were 1500 miles by 1500 miles by 1500 miles tall. This was the city God built. Verse 3–Jerusalem will be a city without walls. This is prophetic to these last 20 years especially with all the suicide killers traveling across the city without walls to kill it’s inhabitants.     Â
    Verse 4–This is prophetic to the Jews leaving Russia, land of the north,  in the law of return to go back to Israel. The Jews fled under great persecution also.
 7 “Come, Zion! Escape, you who live in Daughter Babylon!” 8 For this is what the LORD Almighty says: “After the Glorious One has sent me against the nations that have plundered you—for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye— 9 I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them. [b] Then you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me. 10 “Shout and be glad, Daughter Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you,” declares the LORD. 11 “Many nations will be joined with the LORD in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you. 12 The LORD will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land and will again choose Jerusalem. 13 Be still before the LORD, all people, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.”
    Verse 7-8–Escape you Jews and Leave America, Daughter of Babylon, Daughter of Skyscrapers & Towers, Daughter of Wealth & Commerce, Daughter of Babel, the one with the tattoo on her forehead saying , Babylon the Great, Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth. Read all of Revelation chapter 17 & 18, Jeremiah chapter 50 & 51, Isaiah chapter 13. For fire & terror is coming to her from God and Islam in 1 hour one day and she will be defeated by the Antichrist Islamic nations. Go back home for God will be there to meet you. Do not get caught up in all the wealth God has given you for an hour such as this. Do not delay leaving Babylon as your forefathers did because they became wealthy during the last seventy years. Bring your wealth back home as God intends to the land of your father’s fathers and your mother’s mothers.      Â
    Verse 9–This could be a reference to the spiritual slaves in America or could be reference to the non-christian African Americans, especially the ones like the Nation of Islam as such. Verse 10-11-This is similar to the Fig Tree prophecy when Israel becomes a nation that is the Time of The End also stated by the angel to Daniel when he told him to close up the interpretation until the Time of The End.  The many nations are all the gentile christian nations. Verse 12-13–States Judah instead of Israel because they are not part of the ten lost tribes scattered by Assyria that actually were absorbed into the gentile nations. Judah was the part of Israel swept away by the Babylonians. Be still in your hearts. Rend them, tear them and fast for God’s presence that you may be able to escape the coming judgments and last third of tribulation!
